(Nasdaq: MYL) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with AstraZeneca Group (AstraZeneca) to market Celebrex(TM) for the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug Celebrex(TM) to customers in the United States, Canada, and Australia. The Celebrex(TM) product is expected to reach retail sales in the third quarter of 2023. The Company also received final approval from the U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the Celebrex(TM) product from AstraZeneca. Mylan will continue to market Celebrex(TM) until the end of 2023. In addition, Mylan will provide AstraZeneca with exclusive rights to market the Celebrex(TM) product through a distribution agreement with Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Inc. (NYSE: TGA).

The Celebrex(TM) product is marketed as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that can be used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and reduce fever, cold symptoms, and flu symptoms.
